CAFT 2018

After a fantastically festive Christmas filled with many parties, a fair few Santa’s, hundreds of presents and lots and lots of happy, smiling children, a new year has begun and so has our 2018 holiday programme.

A new year has brought new changes to CAFT. In December, we welcomed our new Chief Executive, Jenny Haskey and we are all thrilled to a have a new member join the CAFT family. In January, our Games Room Development began. The room has quickly been transformed into a fun, fresh and exciting space where children can enjoy their favourite games and relax with their friends. New equipment, a touch of paint and good tidy-up has prepared our facilities for a new year of holidays and fun-days. And in terms of fundraising, we have lots of upcoming events, including our annual Golf Day, Ladies Lunch and introducing “It’s a Knock Out” new for 2018. Our fundraising staff are hard at work planning the exciting events and challenges which will raise lots of money for our holiday programme. Check out our events and challenges pages for more details, to see what else we have planned and to sign up.

Last year was the biggest year to date at CAFT. 2,500 children visited the farm for a holiday, fun-day or Christmas party and we want 2018 to be even bigger! We want to reach even more deserving children from across the North-West. Children who are facing hardships, illness, bereavement or simply do not have the chance to experience a childhood akin to their peers. So if you would like to help us with our mission, please contact us to find out more about fundraising, volunteering, or applying for a holiday or fun-day. Finally. from everyone here at CAFT, we would like to thank you for your continued support and we very much look forward to working with you in 2018.
