Family Fun Open Day
The sun was shining for this years Family Fun Day
The sun was shining for this years Family Fun Day and hundreds of families and friends of the Adventure Farm came for a great afternoon of fun. Static displays were on show from Dixie and his amazing classic tractors, Tameside's classic cars were back with a great display of mini's and this year Gauntlets returned with their superb birds of prey. Meanwhile on the main stage live music from 1Four1 band and Charlie White, Rachel & Chris Howarth, Anne-Marie did a tribute to Grease and Dirty Dancing to the incredible cast of the Wizard of Oz, Whilst down in the main arena the Mascots were battling it out, there was a quaintly essential display of old English dancing from the Bollin Morris all culminating in the Tractor Tug of War, in arena 2 and 3 you could test your skills at the Cain Golf Academy & SNAG and Altrincham Football Academy and roaming around were 99th Garrison in their Star Wars costumes and the brilliant Dominic the magician was on hand to amaze you with mind boggling tricks (or was it really Magic?)
It was a great day and we send are thanks to everyone who came and supported the day, to all the volunteers who made it possible to our very special patrons and to the major star of the day the Sun for shining. Thank you all and see you next year.
