Family Fun and Open Day 2017

On Sunday the 24th of September, CAFT opened its gates for the Annual Family Fun and Open Day and this year it was bigger and better.

We welcomed more guests than ever before and raised over £6000! Guests were entertained by the brilliant live music, entertainment and games. The brilliant Batala band performed, as did our very own Green Team member, Stuart, with his band The Gurus! The ever-growing mascot race was back and the competition this year was fierce but Bobby brought it home for CAFT! We had kid’s races, a vintage car collection and visits from three Princesses and some Stormtroopers! Lots of photos were taken on the day by our lovely supporter, Andrew Collier and they will be available to view on our Flickr gallery soon so you will be able to see all the fun for yourself! It was fantastic to see so many people supporting CAFT and giving generously towards holidays for sick, disabled and terminally ill children across the North West.

We would like to thank all our volunteers and supporters for their ongoing help, time and support. Without you, none of our events would be possible. And a huge thank you to all who came on Sunday, we hope you had as much fun as we did and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
