Good Friday fun!

B&M

We were honoured to be invited along to open the new B&M superstore on Good Friday, and even more honoured to be in the company of the one and only Peppa Pig!

Fundraiser Helen Crowther cut the ribbon and officially opened the store on Altrincham Retail Park before being presented with £250 of vouchers by manager Graeme Reid.

Crowds gathered to celebrate with staff, giving a huge cheer as the ribbon was cut. They then enjoyed free facepainting and Haribo giveaways, and were delighted to meet Peppa Pig was having so much fun that she stuck around for most of the day!

We’re so delighted to have been chosen as B&M Altrincham’s local hero. The store’s kind donation will enable us to buy lots of lovely new things for the farm and for the children to enjoy!

The new 20,000 sq ft store has also been great for our local community as it has created 68 new jobs for local people. Store manager, Graeme Reid, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us for our grand opening and made it such a fun day. It was a huge honour to be able to bring more than 60 new jobs to the area and be able to help our local heroes, The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.”
