Patrons to be Proud of!

Well we're proud of all of our Patrons, obviously, but two in particular have received some very public, and very well deserved, praise right from the top!
Paralympian Sarah Storey received a DBE in the New Year’s Honours list, meaning she is now Dame Sarah! We really couldn’t be more pleased for Sarah who has achieved so much including 4 gold medals at last year’s Paralympics making her the most decorated British female Paralympian athlete of all time! We were also so excited to hear from her and her husband Barney that they are expecting their first child in 2013! What a year 2012 was for them, we’re so proud to call them both our friends and Patron and continue to be grateful for everything they do for our charity.
Sarah is not alone as another of
our Patrons, Carole Nash, received an OBE earlier in 2012 for her philanthropic
and charitable work. Carole has been a
Patron of the Adventure Farm since 2003 but has been involved with our charity
for a great deal longer. Carole continues to support the Adventure
Farm in so many different ways, including sponsorship of events, donation of
prizes for auctions and cash donations for us to continue our work. She
also attends the majority of our events and readily makes the most important
and generous donation anyone could make – her time. We were so pleased
when we heard Carole had been given this honour, she deserves every bit of
recognition she has received.
