Other Ways To Help
We are an organisation that prides itself on building long term relationships be it with large corporations or local schools and groups. In our Get Involved section you will find specific information regarding corporate support, community support, volunteers and full details of our very busy events calendar!
However, we know better than most that everybody's different, so here are a few more ways you could support us...
Our Charity Shop
4 Canute Place, Knutsford, WA16 6BH (click to see location)
Contact Telephone Number: 01565 652 403
We have a small, but lovely, charity shop in Knutsford. We try our best to sell only good quality merchandise, so if you fancy a browse or could donate something, please pop down!
Please be aware that due to safety reasons our charity shop is unable to sell second hand electrical items.
Ok, so sure you know how a donation works, but did you know there are more options than you think!...
Regular Giving - donate regularly to CAFT by completing and returning our Regular Giving Form.
Give As You Earn - An easy and tax free way of giving through your gross pay. Simply complete and return our Payroll Giving Form.
Gift Aid - describes a government scheme whereby we can reclaim the tax you have paid on your donation, with no cost to you. For example, if you donated £10 to CAFT we can claim approximately £2.80 back, increasing your donation by nearly a third!
Donate Goods & Services are absolutely vital to our work, here are a few examples:
- Auction and raffle prizes for our events
- New toys for the children's Christmas Parties (Oct and Nov please)
- Food and drink for the children's holidays
- General office equipment and stationary
- Printing services
- New bedding
- Tickets to local attractions for the children
- Cleaning products
- DJ's and Entertainment Services
- Good quality clothes and items for our Charity Shop
Leave A Gift In Your Will - This can be a pecuniary gift (a cash sum) or a specific gift (for example, a piece of jewellery). You can also make a residuary gift, which means that CAFT receives the remainder or a share of the remainder of your estate, after you have made provision for your family and friends. If you have already made a will, you can simply ask your Solicitor to attach a Codicil (click to download) in order to remember CAFT in your wishes. CAFT advises anyone making or updating a will to seek advice from an independent Solicitor.
In Memoriam Gifts - Many people now ask family and friends to make a donation to a charity rather than send flowers. You may like to request that donations are made to The Children's Adventure Farm Trust.
Of course, there are the more usual ways to, please help if you can...
- Make a donation via Just Giving though our Donate section
- Send a cheque or postal order made payable to Children's Adventure Farm Trust (full address here)
- Donate by credit / debit card by calling us on 01565 830053
