We believe that all children, regardless of age, ability or social circumstance, have the right to play in a safe environment. For many children this is not possible in their daily environment.

A break at The Adventure Farm gives the children a fantastic opportunity to escape the traumas of their everyday lives and simply become children again. Here at CAFT we give these children the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives, recognise their potential and achieve their goals.

We show the children and young people that there is a world outside of the world they live in, giving them something to aim for, giving them hope.

We have a range of programmes to offer, each suitable for children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. These include:

Free Holiday Programme

From February to October, we offer residential stays for groups of up to 22 (including care staff) or for individual families. We have a few options available in our holiday programme: a five day residential, a weekend residential or a split week.(5 days assigned to a large group. The group is split to accommodate numbers, allowing a two night stay for each child).

Typical activities during a residential stay include a themed fun-day and a day trip to a local attraction, plus plenty of playtime with all our fantastic onsite facilities.

Fun-days

From February to October, groups can enjoy an action packed day running from 10am to 2pm. The size of the group is dependant on the needs of the children. For large groups (max.60 children at one time) we can offer several fun-days so that the group may be broken down into smaller numbers.

Christmas Party Programme

Throughout November and December, CAFT is transformed into a magically festive farm. Children visit throughout the period for a Christmas fun-day (10am-2pm) during which they will meet Santa, enjoy a Christmas dinner and receive a big bag of presents to take home!
