From the gentle rolling hills of Provence’s idyllic countryside to the more challenging iconic climbs through the Alps\, this trip offers cyclists a little bit of everything. Take in its breath-taking beauty combined with it’s history\, culture\, cuisine\, enviable climate and exceptionally welcoming locals\, amazing cycling roads\, beautiful hotels\, and you’ve got the perfect cycling trip! \nWe start near the Mediterranean sea on the outskirts of Marseille before heading north! After cycling through picturesque villages\, through fields of lavender\, olive groves and vineyards\, the end of the first and the beginning of the second day will be dominated by the magnificent Mont Ventoux. Then we enter the Rhône-Alpes region\, on the edge of the Alps. While the peaks are not as high as the famed mountains and Cols further to the East\, brace yourself for some surprises! Endless miles of perfect roads\, beautiful towns and stunning scenery will take your breath away! Col de la Machine might be one of the most beautiful balcony roads in the world. We will finish our ride in the historic city centre of Lyon\, where we reflect on the amazing days of cycling and celebrate our achievement! \nThis really is a special adventure that you just don’t want to miss!!
