It is known as “the road of the Franks” and was first recorded in the 10th century by Archbishop Sigeric\, making it one of Europe’s great pilgrim paths.\nThis section takes you through the breath-taking landscape Tuscany is known for… rolling hills with cypress lined gravel paths\, vineyards\, olive groves\, fields of sunflowers. DESCRIPTION:Sunday 29th of November 2026 \nJoin us for this popular\, fun event suitable for everyone.\nEntry includes Santa Suit\, finisher medal\, refreshments en route and a hearty lunch. \nIt will start and finish at Altrincham Town Hall. \nThere are 3 cycling circular routes to choose from (11.50 mile family friendly and fully – signed\, 30 mile ‘moderate’ and fully signed and 60 mile ‘tougher’ – not signed) each of them starting at a different time\, as well as 2 circular walking routes (4 and 8 mile options). \nAll of the cycling routes will pass The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust in Millington where participants will be able to warm up with a hot beverage (hot chocolate or mulled wine) and mince pie\, before putting on the Santa costume for the last leg of the journey back to Altrincham. On return\, cycling Santa’s will be welcomed by the “REAL” man in red who will award them with a finisher medal before a hearty lunch (hot pot with all the trimmings & hot dogs) there will also be an after party with lots of fun activities there for your friends and family to enjoy. \nProvisional timings are 9am for 60-mile ride\, 10.30am for 30-miles ride\, 11am for Family ride; 10am for 8-mile walk\, 11.15am for 4-mile walk.  Routes and exact timings will be confirmed nearer to the time. \nAll participants will receive Santa Suit\, Finisher Medal\, Refreshments (mince pie / hot chocolate or mulled wine)\, and hearty lunch. \nREGISTER HERE: \nContact jure@caft.co.uk if you require any further information.
