SUMMARY:Summer Solstice – London to Manchester
DESCRIPTION:We are incredibly excited to offer our ‘extreme and endurance’ loving cycling supporters another amazing long distance event; opportunity to conquer ‘double-century’\, riding from Central London to Manchester… well\, Timperley to be exact!  All this on 14th June – one of the longest Saturdays of 2025! \nWe will start our adventure – setting off from our Hotel (Travelodge Southwark) in Southbank before taking group photo just down the road – featuring  iconic London Skyline as a backdrop… just as the sun rises at 4.45am. From there we have approx. 210 miles journey to Manchester\, to be completed before the sun sets at 21.39. Nearly 15 hours in total!  Provisional route can be viewed HERE. \nThere is also a 150 miles option\, starting at a little more reasonable 8.30am in Buckingham\, before joining the same route near Milton Keynes. Provisional route can be viewed HERE. \n£85 entry fee (includes transport for you and your bike from Manchester to London on Friday\, and fully supported ride on Saturday). \nAccommodation (Travelodge Southwarks @ £54.5 based on two sharing / limited £109 for single occupancy) will be in addition to the entry donation and the payment for this will be due no later than month before (14th May 2025). \nPlease note that the places are strictly limited and they are likely to fill quickly\, so register early to avoid disappointment. \nTo secure your place\, please register HERE \nContact jure@caft.co.uk if you need any further information at this point.

SUMMARY:Raid Alpine 4.0 – Julian Alps to Adriatic Sea Wk 1
DESCRIPTION:THIS WEEK IS SOLD OUT! Places available on other dates! \nThis fantastic charity challenge will see participants cycle the beautiful roads and scenery of eastern and central Slovenia\, Friuli and Veneto regions in northern Italy\, as well as brief visits to Croatia and Austria. \nWe start in the Italian Alps before crossing the border into Slovenia; through Julian Alps and it’s stunning Triglav National Park\, visiting picturesque towns of Kranjska Gora and Bled… Following days\, we visit Ljubljana before making our way over the central hills and plateaus\, and down to the wine region of Vipava valley! Then on to Karst region and into Croatian Istria\, before reaching the Adriatic Sea. Long run through flats of Veneto region will see us finishing just a short distance from Venice. \nEach day will be so very different! We will stay in some wonderfully unique accommodations along the way – stunning Alpine hotel\, luxury ‘Ranch’\, ancient monastery complex in UNESCO protected village\, coastal resort… \nVariety extends to culinary experience too\, expressed in the mix of cultural influences\, as we seamlessly weave our way between the region and country borders.
