Our Summer Solstice challenge saw cyclists complete the mammoth Cardiff to Manchester ride with 200 miles in one day! Setting off from Barry Island as the sun rose, and reaching Timperley way before it set again, it was a tough one, with hot weather and some rough and lumpy terrain en route.
Huge thanks to everyone that has sponsored the riders. They have jointly raised £9,959 so far, creating opportunities for over 830 children and families at CAFT.
Special thanks to the amazing support crew, volunteering their time to look after the riders – Ian, Don and Janet. Thank you to Rosgal Ltd for supporting the event with the vehicle and all the fuel, and to Ian Elliot & Timperely Boneshakers for championing the event, making it such a success.
