Wood Street Mission is a children’s charity helping children and families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford. Victoria Bachmann, the Development Leader, gave the following feedback:
“I just wanted to send over a feedback snapshot of each of the groups that we brought to CAFT this year. All the groups thoroughly enjoyed the CAFT days with many of the children asking if they could return.
The CAFT staff are always amazing with the children, and the range of activities are engaging, fun, encourage different elements of play and offer an educational element – there is always something for everyone.
I personally have truly loved the CAFT days out, some of the comments from the children really do make me realise how important it is that we are able to offer these experiences ‘I have never seen a real live sheep before’, ‘I know this is a mud kitchen, but where is the mud?’ – this child was ecstatic when he realised he was able to make his own mud!
